Hey folks, some details about the April 2007 Mobile Monday meeting I already posted a bit of info about. We have some folks in from out of town, and the triumphant return of the Silicon Valley Mobile Monday patron saint. Please note that we’re starting at 6:00pm instead of the normal 7:00pm. Here’s the details:

  • What: April 2007 Mobile Monday (A Few Topics from Mobile 2.0)
  • When: April 16th, 2007 6:00pm

  • Who: Anyone interested in mobility
  • Cost: Nothing!

And some additional info about parking if you’re driving into the area and directions to the room itself once you get to campus. Speakers:

  • Ajit Jaokar - Co-author of the Mobile Web 2.0 book, chair of Oxford University’s next generation mobile applications panel, and adviser to mobile startups. Ajit will be talking about location based tagging of user generated content via GPS.
  • Tony Fish - Co-author or the Mobile Web 2.0 book, venture capitalist, successful entrepreneur, speaker, and founder of AMF Ventures. Tony is going to be talking about use of location information for tracking purposes.
  • Russell Beattie - Founder of the Silicon Valley chapter of Mobile Monday, former strategist for Yahoo mobile, and currently entrepreneur. Russ is going to be talking about next generation content adaption and giving us a view of what he’s been working on for the last few months.
