The June 2006 Silicon Valley Mobile Monday will be on June 5th at Motorola in Sunnyvale. The topic is Handset Hardware. Questions like “what’s the most common handset out right now?” and “what’s going to be the most common handset in two months?” have come up again and again at the meetings. So we’re going to have David Adams from Mobile Research visit to try to answer some of those questions. Here are the essentials in MoMo standard format:

  • What: June 2006 Mobile Monday (Handset Hardware)
  • When: June 5th, 2006 7:00pm
  • Where: Motorola, Building 4, 809 11th Ave, Sunnyvale, CA (Location Map)
  • Who: Anyone interested in mobility
  • Cost: Nothing!

There are a few things to note about the location:

  • You’ll have to sign in at the desk when you enter the building.
  • The doors get locked at around 7:30 and can’t be opened from the outside, so please come promptly at 7:00.

Sorry about the restrictions, we’ll work on making that a bit smoother if we have more meetings at Motorola. As always, if you have questions or want to get the conversation started beforehand the Yahoo Group is probably the best place to go. See you all next week!
