April 2007 Mobile Monday SV

We’ve got a few special appearances planned for the April edition of MoMo, so we’re going to be holding the meeting on April 16th instead of the normal time. Why is that you might ask? Cause the Web 2.0 expo is happening right then and the authors of the Mobile Web 2.0 book are going to be in town and wanted to talk about a few selected issues in the evolution of mobility. Both Ajit and Tony will be speaking at MoMo, and we’ll have one or two more interesting presentations as well. Anyone who caught Tony’s presentation at Mobile 2.0 should know, we’re really in for a treat!

The meeting is going to be over at Berkeley, and I’ll post info about getting to the auditorium and parking as the time gets closer.

  • The March Mobile Monday is still a work in progress, despite being scheduled for tomorrow. The plan was to ride along with the momentum from the Game Developer Conference that was in town last week. Which in theory should be great, but it turned out that all the people who said it was a great idea also didn’t have time last week to finalize plans. Still, pushing the meeting by another week would just go too long, and the meetings are as much about connecting with other folks from the industry as they are about the topic. So here goes, we’re meeting tomorrow, but confirmed details are sparse:

    • What: March 2007 Mobile Monday (Gaming)
    • When: March 12th, 2007 7:00pm
    • Where: AOL Building 12, 401 Ellis St., Mountain View, CA
    • Who: Anyone interested in mobility
    • Cost: Nothing!

I’ll fill in the details as I get confirmations myself.

    Updates: Presentations
