Well, you knew this was coming. Sorry for the late notice, but that’s because I’ve been arranging this instead of Mike and well, I’m disorganized as hell. We’re going to be holding the next Mobile Monday at Yahoo’s campus in Sunnyvale! It’s on April 4th at 7:00 p.m. I’ll be posting later with the details about how to get here, etc.

The topic will ostensibly be about community and we’ll be having the following speakers present:

• Igor Jablokov, Program Director Multimodal & Voice Portals IBM Software Group,
• Fabrizio Capobianco, CEO/Founder of Funambol the company behind Sync4j,
• Jeff Clavier, managing partner SoftechVC and Marc Brown, Co-founder Buzznet Inc, and
• Thad White, Senior Director, Product Management at Yahoo!

I’ll post more about their presentations later this week.

While I’m at it, I should announce that May’s Mobile Monday will be held at Sun Microsystems’ Sunnyvale auditorium as well and we’re still working on speakers and topic, so if you’d like to present, please ping me or Mike.

We had another great meetup last night. I just uploaded a bunch of new photos to Flickr tagged with Mobile Monday. The speakers were great (especially the demo from Mobile Complete - what a cool device!), and the crowd was - as always - awesome and ever-growing.

Though we didn’t get audio of this month’s speakers, I did take a few videos. Here’s some very short clips of Keith Cook, Michael Nelson, and the crowd mingling afterwards. We’ll try to up the quality of our media from my 6630 recording video on night mode to something a bit nicer in the future, promise.
